Maverick: Album Review (5 stars)
"This album is like a huge breath of fresh air for all REAL country fans." Located in the December 2008 print edition.

Blurt: Album Review

Country Universe: Album Review (4.5 stars)
"This culmination of substantive songs with memorable melodies, along with the tastefully soft acoustic productions, certainly gives this record the integrity worthy of a Sugar Hill Records release and will, no doubt, land somewhere on my top five albums for 2008." Read more.

Roughstock: Album Review
"Quite simply, it's one of the best albums that you are likely to hear, quite possibly the rest of this decade." Read the rest of the review here.

Exclaim.ca Album Review
"Yet the most surprising accomplishment comes with a cover that should be a joke but isn't. Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Freebird" is deconstructed, reworked and rebuilt to stunning effect. Who knew it was possible? And if this signature achievement doesn't send a chill down your back prepare yourself for regular exposure to Joey Martin's voice. It promises to take its toll."
