On October 3, 1861 John Wesley Robison marched off to war, leaving Santa Fe, Tennessee, with the newly formed Maury Light Artillery. Many letters flowed between J.W. and his wife Josephine during their years of separation.
In the year 2000, the love letters of J.W. and Josephine Robison inspired Rory, to write the song “Josephine.”
